I started out in the digital field during the burgeoning dot com era. I built my first website and eventually found myself working at Boxtop Interactive. That company became the publicly traded iXL and allowed me to design websites for the likes of Korn, Alanis Morrissette, Sony, and Pepsi. All entertainment properties that shaped the way to “celebrify” a voice online.

And, of course, I was always experimenting with new ideas, programs, brushes, paints and pens. I decided to start blurring the line between digital and analog to build a better story. Also, it didn’t hurt that I am a publish street artist.

Street art taught me how to plan, paint and produce the ads that people see today. This science is something that you learn on the ground through trial and tribulation. There are no schools for this or college papers. Just a thought and an unshakable tenacity to make it real.

After the digital bust, I submerged myself into the ad business. Fortunately for me, agencies had begun to embrace a brand’s digital arm. As Chiat’s Design Director, I led product design work for Nissan, Sony Playstation and Apple. At Deutch, I designed several online car configurators for Mitsubishi and developed concepts for Coors Light. Thereafter, I worked at numerous global digital agencies including Rosetta, Razorfish, Publicis-Sapient, Innocean, and Wongdoody.

As of late, I find myself consulting for clients interested in the digital transformation track. This includes unifying the physical world with the right digital overlay aka PHYGITAL experiences. Frictionless retail experiences, NFTs, and delivering your future-proof MVPs have become part of my day-to-day remit.

As always, I am looking to bridge the human condition with products organically.
